Attorney Louis Stephen Xifaras, founder of Xifaras Law, has over 38 years of experience successfully representing clients in a wide range of legal matters, including real estate, family law, divorce, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and criminal defense. Based in Mansfield, Massachusetts, he proudly serves clients throughout southeastern Massachusetts, including Bristol County and surrounding communities.

A wide range of experiences while practicing law in both public and  private attorney positions, gives Attorney Xifaras a fuller  understanding and critical perspective of the law to the benefit of  clients he now represents or defends in court. He has taken part in  hundreds of cases and trials and has stood by his clients in a range of  legal settings including district court, superior court, probate and  family courts, and juvenile court.

Attorney Xifaras has been a member of the Commonwealth of  Massachusetts Bar Association since 1986. He received his Juris Doctor  degree from the New England School of Law in 1985 following his earning  dual undergraduate Bachelors of Arts degrees cum laude in Political  Science and Economics from Northeastern University.
